Veruca & Mike Teavee. Charlie & Grandpa Joe. Which one are you? I think I might be a little of each of them. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted a goose that lays golden eggs & snozberry flavored wallpaper. I wanted to run around in that candy forest, float in the Fizzy Lifting Room and dive into the chocolate river. I mean...I still want to do those things. So...if anyone reading this has access to snozberry wallpaper, DM me!
Inspired by my love (or obsession) with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the OG one, not that other nonsense), I bring you a Chocolate, Blueberry & Butterfly Pea Flower smoothie that will make you want to yell “Violet, you’re turning violet!”
Notes & Substitutions:
Equipment: Blender
Bananas: I'm allergic to bananas, which is why you won't find it in my recipes. However, if you like them, frozen bananas can add some sweetness along with a nice thick & creamy texture to your smoothies.
Ingredients: See ‘A Pinch, A Dash & A Smidge’ for measuring references.
2 Handfuls Frozen Avocado
2 Handfuls Frozen Blueberries
About 4-6 Butterfly Pea Flower buds steeped in about a mug of water
1-½ handful Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
A handful of Kale
A handful of Spinach
A dollop of soaked chia seeds
A dollop of Joi Almond Nut Base
Agave syrup (or your favorite liquid sweetener) added to taste
Instructions:
